WHO WE ARE
Magic of Music is a group of talented and compassionate musicians who believe music has magic. We believe that music can evoke many feelings inside listeners, and hope to be able to touch people's hearts with our music as well. We want to help and give back to our community.
WHAT WE DO
Make music. Make an impact. Make a difference.
Magic of Music performs live for places where people might need help, such as nursing homes and assisted livings. We also hope to be able to play not only for nursing homes and assisted livings, but other places such as hospitals to serve more people. Currently, because of COVID-19, we perform over Zoom.

Because Magic of Music aims to help the community and spread joy during COVID-19 and beyond, our performances not only consist of music playing, but also chatting and connecting with the residents: sharing stories, answering questions, and overall, having fun.
HISTORY
It started in July 2020 when Catherine read the news that a local nursing home had been severely impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. She thought about how hard it would be for those more prone to severe illness from COVID-19, like those in nursing homes and assisted livings. After our founder, a devoted musician herself, considered ways to help them, it was clear that music would be a fantastic way to help that nursing home and touch their hearts.
Catherine worked tirelessly to reach out to several nursing homes, organize performance dates, recruit a group of talented musicians, and began to perform for local nursing homes every week. Please join us to share music and help Magic of Music continue to grow!
